FELT HAT MAKING WORKSHOP
Tutor: Bridget O'Connell

We have no workshops planned for 2017 as Bridget has decided to take a break this year. Do contact us if you'd like to arrange a group workshop - minmum 8 people.

We take great pride in the quality of our catering which always includes homemade bread and cake. Homemade soup, quiche or pasta dishes are usual but we are happy to cater for particular requirements on request.

NOTE FROM SHEILA: Our past
Felt Hat Making Workshops have all been exceptional. (See pics below)
Bridget is taking a break this year but we can arrange a special workshop for you if you have a group of 8.

WORKSHOP: Felt Hat Making
The tutor for this very special workshop is Bridget O’Connell, formerly a flamboyant junior school teacher, who found that her creative passion for felt compelled her to turn a hobby into a business. Bridget’s inspirational style encourages creativity and experimentation so we're confident that you will be thrilled with the hat you produce under her expert tuition.
Use whatever colours you like and create a hat to your own design based on one of the styles Bridget has already worked with or just go with the flow and create something totally new using your own creativity. I can promise that you will leave with a hat you have created yourself that will be the envy of all your friends - and it will be fabulously warm as it will be made from the finest Merino Wool.

All the hats shown left and right were made by Bridget. Many more can be seen on her website: www.feltbybridget.com

Our past Felt Hat Making Workshops have been fantastic!

The hats shown right were made by a previous group.

Each participant learnt how to make felt in the morning and had made their own hat by 4pm the same day.

Hard work, a great bunch of people and a brilliant teacher - a really fabulous day.
